Diesel Engine Operation Program

Course Objective

The Diesel Engine Operation Program at the Higher Institute of Water and Power Technologies is designed to meet the needs of the industry, power plants, and has taken into consideration the technical professional standard required in the national industry for operating technicians. The program supports training in basic English language competencies, personal safety, practical safety, behavioral skills, and teamwork. It includes training in basic skills in the use and operation of terminal equipment in addition to the skills of operation and engineering drawings and electrical charges; it also teaches how to manage and use rotating electrical and mechanical equipment and in addition to operating and troubleshooting Diesel Engine Operation machines.
