Al-Suwaidi company in partnership with HIWPT starts the 2nd batch of Saudi youth in industrial training

Al-Suwaidi Industrial Services Co. Ltd. (SIS), which successfully launched a strategic training program in 2021, has started its second phase, where 150 additional Saudi youth have been recruited to receive training in various industrial activities in collaboration with the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies (HIWPT).

The second training agreement between SIS and HIWPT was signed on October 6, 2022, and on November 1, 2022, the 150 qualified trainees, after receiving support from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), began their journey in training at the HIWPT Rabigh campus.

The agreement aims to provide vocational training for Saudi youth to strengthen their skills and empower them to serve in the industrial operations and maintenance of SIS, with HIWPT bringing extensive technical knowledge and high-caliber training techniques.

The SIS training initiative, in collaboration with HIWPT, is a customized technical vocational training program where trainees are introduced to core technical programs in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, and Welding supported by training in English language in the first year and a focus on specialty jobs in the second year on site.

The partnership between SIS and HIWPT further underscores the commitment and support for the Kingdom’s transformative development, which aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s human resources development strategy.
