Deal to provide training services with GEMS in Rabigh signed

The Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies  (HIWPT) and Global Environmental Management Services (GEMS) signed officially on May 22, 2022, in Rabigh an agreement to train Saudi youths in technical skills for the operation of waste management, industrial, and maintenance services.

The selected 45 trainees will begin a six-month technical training program with HIWPT on July 31, 2022, where they will receive significant technical knowledge and high-quality training methodologies in the disciplines of instrumentation, welding, and SCADA operation.

GEMS, a subsidiary of the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) owned by the Public Investment Fund, is a leading provider of integrated waste management solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The company offers integrated waste management services, industrial and maintenance services, byproduct recycling, logistics, and transportation management.
