MHRSD, HIWPT sign MoU to provide social security beneficiaries with training opportunities

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the Makkah regional office of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) and the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies (HIWPT) in an effort to provide training opportunities for social security beneficiaries.

The General Director of MHRSD Makkah region, Mr. Fahd bin Raqosh, and the Executive Managing Director of HIWPT, Eng. Tariq Al-Shamrani, signed an MoU, in Jeddah on August 9, 2022, in order to uphold the commitment of both organizations to improving social conditions through training and development in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The memorandum comes from the two parties’ shared understanding of the value of collaboration and coordination, as well as their willingness to strengthen their respective efforts to support societal development initiatives and work toward shared objectives.

The goal of the memorandum is to give social security recipients and their dependents who are able to work the advantage to benefit from the training opportunities being offered at HIWPT, qualify them for the workforce, improve their living circumstances, find financial independence, and contribute to society.
